For teams and leadership groups

Retreats

We design and run a residential retreat around your team, your timing and what you actually need out of it.

What this is

You tell us who the group is, what they are carrying, and what you want to be true by the end. We design the retreat around that, handle the venue, the food and the logistics, and run it.

The difference between this and a company offsite is what people leave with. Your team spends the days training their nervous system, so they go back with tools they keep using in November, not photographs.

What it's for

Four reasons teams book one.

Reset a team that has run hard.

After a long season or a heavy quarter, the pressure does not leave the body on its own. A few days of proper recovery training resets the baseline before the next stretch starts.

Close what keeps slipping.

Protected work blocks with no meetings and no interruptions. Leadership teams use these days to finish the things that have been open for months.

Build a practice the team keeps.

Regulation holds when a group learns it together. A residential setting is the fastest way to build something that survives the return to work.

Start a new team properly.

Before the pressure arrives, give a new or restructured group a shared language and a shared practice for handling it.

How it's built

Some things are fixed. The rest is yours.

For example

A four-day retreat we designed.

This is one retreat, built for a specific group. Yours would be built for yours. It is here to show the shape of a day rather than a schedule you would follow.

Outdoor functional gym where the first strength session runs
Cold plunge tub beside the pool
Open pavilion by the pool set for dinner
Day one

Arrive and open

Arrive from noon. The programme starts at 4pm, so the group can travel that morning.

  • From noonArrive, settle in, swim. No schedule until 4pm.
  • Late afternoonStrength session to open. Load first, talk after.
  • Early eveningCold plunge straight after the session. First reset of the four days.
  • DinnerOne short round at the table: what each person is here to close. That is the whole introduction.
Long work desk in a quiet room at the villa
Box jumps during the training session
Wood fired sauna at around ninety degrees
Day two

Map and build

The first full loop. Regulate, map the outcome, then four hours of protected work.

  • On wakingBreathwork and movement before input. Ten to twenty minutes of activation, then the practice. This is the sequence you take home.
  • MorningOutcome mapping. Each person writes the exact outcome they want by the end of the retreat, visible to the room. Vague goals do not survive this session.
  • BreakfastProtein and fibre, no sugar crash. Food stays clean through the working days.
  • MiddayFour hour deep work block. Protected silence, no meetings, no interruptions.
  • AfternoonOpen time. Keep working, sleep, swim. No programming.
  • SunsetMovement on the beach as the load from the day peaks. Training here is active recovery.
  • NightSauna and ice at Ember and Ice in Ahangama, then dinner. Sleep after this is different.
Villa grounds on the third morning
Ice bath at four to ten degrees
Day three

Run it again

Same sequence. Repetition is the point. The second run is where it starts to feel like a default.

  • MorningThe loop again: activation, breathwork, then straight into the second four hour block.
  • AfternoonOpen time, then a ride out through the paddy fields and the village. Different input, different angle on the problem you were stuck on at 2pm.
  • EveningSauna and ice again, then dinner.
  • NightNo schedule after dinner. Whatever the room wants.
Open dining and living space on the last morning
Terrace looking out over the garden
Day four

Close and carry

You leave from inside the routine, so the re-entry into the week happens with the practice already running.

  • MorningRegulation and a last work session. Close the outcome you wrote at the start.
  • MiddayYou leave with a written protocol: what to run daily, what to run when the load spikes, and what to drop first when the week goes sideways.
  • EveningDeparture. Back in Colombo the same night.
How it works

From a conversation to a retreat.

01

You tell us the situation

Who the group is, what they have been carrying, and what you want to be true by the end of it.

02

We scope it with you

Length, location, group size and the balance between work and recovery. You get a written proposal with the cost.

03

We design and handle it

Venue, food, transport, the schedule. Your only job is getting the group there.

04

We run it

Jude leads throughout. Everyone leaves with a written protocol and the practice library.

The setting

Our villa on the South Coast, one of the places we run retreats. We also work at your venue or source somewhere that fits the group.

Something built for your brief

If what you need isn't here, we scope it. Tell us the outcome you're after and we design around it, drawing on our own practitioners and our partner network.

Tell us where you are.

Tell us about your team.

Every retreat is designed from a conversation, so that is where it starts.
